About the role

Embedded within the Experience Design team in the Product Department, the UX/UI role is a generalist role which focuses on creating exceptional experiences across various product verticals.

This role will also work closely with business development, research, marketing professionals, various subject matter experts and stakeholders to advance CHIMP through meaningful and refined experiences.


Core responsibilities

  • Create world-class design solutions to various UX/UI problems

  • Work closely with Product Managers, stakeholders and subject matter experts to assess and understand requirements and work strategically on crafting solutions

  • Work closely with our Content Strategists and content-first design methodologies

  • Work seamlessly with different teams and departments

  • Create flows, wireframes, high-fidelity mock-ups and interactive prototypes for different digital products

  • Conduct remote usability testing and observe best practices of solution validation

  • Analyze user feedback and activity, and iterate to enhance the experience for our users

  • Provide timelines and delivery estimates

  • Work closely with our Research departments to understand our audiences and how research and analytics translate into our everyday work

What you’ll bring

  • Creativity and passion for what you do

  • 5+ years of digital design experience, spanning the disciplines of UX, UI and visual design

  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline

  • Mastery of industry-standard design tools (Adobe, Sketch, InVision, etc.)

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to simplify complexity and distill ideas

  • Ability to both take high-level direction and have ownership over projects and specific pieces of work

  • Solid understanding of design best practices and current design frameworks

  • Design thinking practice as a strategic problem-solving discipline
